Wigwam Motel / Motel in Arizona
In 1936 the first Wigwam Village Motel opened in Cave City, Kentucky. Charles E. Lewis purchased copies of the patented plans, negotiated a royalty agreement, and opened the Holbrook Wigwam Motel in 1950.
