Twin Arrows Trading Post / Abandoned Place in Arizona
Built in 1950 to capitalize on the post WWII tourism boom this was originally the Canyon Padre Trading Post. Jean and William Troxell acquired the property in 1954, renamed it Twin Arrows, and added the signature arrows made from telephone poles. The trading post closed in 1995. It appears in the movie Forest Gump.
