Carlinville Plaza / Attraction in Illinois
The Carlinville Town Square has at its center an historic gazebo. It is surrounded by brick lined streets and 19th century buildings. Dominating the square is the Loomis House that opened as a fifty room hotel in 1870, and was later renamed the St. George Hotel.
