Turkey Tracks on Route 66 / Attraction in Illinois
South of Nilwood on Donaldson Road is a unique attraction and photo op. On an original piece section of the 1926-30 alignment of Route 66 are a set of turkey tracks in the concrete that were imprinted in the 1920's when the original Route 4 road bed was poured.
