Grants, NM - 2014 : The retro sign of the Grants Cafe was returned and restored as part of a neon restoration project.

Tucumcari, NM - 2014 : This 1939 iconic Blue Swallow Motel is one of the crown jewels of Route 66.

La Bajada Hill, NM - 2004 : Driving down La Bajada Hill is almost impossible nowadays, but it makes for a great hike!

Tucumcari, NM - 2014 : Tee Pee Curios is a souvenir shop and Indian art shop, located in a building with a large concrete teepee.

Continental Divide, NM - 2014 : A huge sign indicates where the former Whiting Brothers motel and station was.

Endee, NM - 2014 : This abandoned cabin with "modern restrooms" painted on the side, offers a unique photo opportunity.

Continental Divide, NM - 2014 : At the Continental Divide in New Mexico, an old covered wagon is on display.

La Bajada Hill is one of the most interesting, but most difficult to traverse, segments of Route 66.
