Hi and welcome, Steve --

I moved the thread to the Travel section because I think it'll generate more comments.

Anyone else have any thoughts on his Route 66 photo collection?

I read and looked at the pictures earlier, very nice indeed. I just thought I should add that I, the other day, had another of my stories printed. This time five pages Route 66 and pictures from my trip 2007. It's in Swedish, though so I won't upload anything here and I don't think I'm allowed since it's a magazine for members only. But it turned out very nice and I hope it will influence more people to do the trip.

Steve,

I have seen your photographs before and they are excellent. I plan on buying the hardcover version of your book, as I am trying to get my hands on virtually every book on Route 66 out there.

I just completed Route66: The Highway and it's People[/i] by Susan Kelly & Quinta Scott, which includes interviews with many people with long-time association with the highway and also many vintage photographs, and Nick Freeth's book 2,297 Miles from Chicago to LA, and Witzel's Legendary Route 66, an excellent and detailed historical account of 66 and the good roads movement, with rare photographs.

I look forward to seeing your book.
